About Us
Knutsford Rugby Club is a fantastic example of a community sports club that has really impacted upon it's local environment. We are now in our seventh season and in such a short space of time, the milestones that we have achieved are truly remarkable. We now have three seniors sides, with a 1st XV and 2nd XV playing every week and a 'Kasuals' side that plays whenever there are enough veterans fit enough at any one time! We have achieved the RFU Whole Club Seal of Approval (ninth club in the country to achieve this award) and last year (in 2009-2010) we received the Cheshire East Club of the Year Award.
The junior section has teams right through from Under 7's to Under 11's. Our junior Chairman, Steve Mooney is doing a fantastic job of promoting junior rugby in our local community and the junior membership is literally increasing week by week.
No Rugby Club is complete without the social aspect and Knutsford Rugby Club's social scene is simply incredible, catering for over one thousand guests at seven or more events each season.
