Knutsford Rugby Club Training Weekend

August 13th - August 14th 2010.
Graced by ex-Lion international Jonathan Griffiths the pre-season training weekend was a fusion of fitness trials and skills development. Together with our director of rugby at Knutsford Rugby Club, Sam Fishburne, the squad experienced new approaches in rugby skills, "Our objective is to make pre-season training as tough as possible, but at the same time to present the players with fresh and different experiences. Above all make it fun".
Our considerable thanks to Dave Livesey (RFU Rugby Development Officer (Cheshire)) and Brendan Thomas; Brendan helped in our training session on Friday evening and Dave kindly helped with providing collateral for a tag tournament during the training session on Saturday.
A quick mention for a few people; Ryan Acton, Sam Fishburn, Olly Mooney, Chris Edmonds for making it happen and of course Carl for his sublime food.

Whats New

Thanks to ex-Lion international, Jonathan Griffiths, and RFU Coach Brendan Thomas for a highly productive pre-season training session (August 13th-14th).

Our considerable appreciation to Booths supermarket for helping support Knutsford Rugby Club on Saturday August 7th and all our volunteers helping to pack bags. The support was incredibly generous, raising over 700GBP for the development of the club in the community.

September 5th - Junior Training at Egerton Youth Club.

Knutsford Rugby Club is an astonishing club to be part of; a thriving social scene, achievements at all levels in the Club from our Junior Section to our Senior teams, RFU Whole Club Award (9th club in England to achieve this status in 2009), Cheshire East Club of the Year 2009-2010 and an unbelievable support for charity (when you wish upon a star and help for heroes).
