Friday May 9th 2008 | Wes Oebel accepts the Miller Homes trophy for winners of the Division 5 South League on behalf of Knutsford Rugby Club 2nd XV for the 2007-2008 season. ‘An inspired group of players, fantastic team spirit and sheer determination brought success to the 2nd XV. Miller Homes Award Ceremony | May 9th 2008 - Preston Grasshoppers Rugby Club played host for the 2007-2008 Miller Homes League Award Ceremony. At this award ceremony, Knutsford Rugby Club 2nd XV received the Division 5 South Shield as winners of the league. An astonishing achievement given the previous season the team were floundering at the bottom of the table. As manager of the 2nd XV, Neil Clarke asked Wes Oebel to receive the award on behalf of the Club.

Next season the team will play in the Division 4 South League.

Miller Homes 2007-2008 Final League Results | Knutsford 2nd XV are League Champions - Throughout the season the 2nd XV have played with a sparkling team spirit and delivered impressive score lines amassing an incredible 811 points over the season [breaking the Clubs record for the highest scoring game against Old Bedians (74-5)]. A remarkable season for a remarkable team.
