2004 - Club created, having been formed following England's inspirational victory at the 2003 Rugby World Cup. 1st XV play in the Miller Homes League Divsion 5 South.
2006 - 1st XV Promotion to the RFU league | 2nd XV team formed to play in Miller Homes League.
2007 - RFU Presidents XV Award for the Community. 1st XV Promoted to RFU South Cheshire 3.
2008 - RFU Seal of Approval Award reflecting the incredible success of the Junior Section. 1st XV Promoted to RFU South Cheshire 3 and 2nd XV Promoted to Miller Homes Division 4 South. Knutsford Rugby Club raise over 60k for the charity Wish Upon a Star (2005-2008). We secure an award from the FSA for sports equipment.
2009 - Ted Taylor opens the new Gym at Knutsford Rugby Club. RFU Awards Knutsford Rugby the Whole Club Seal of Approval (1st in Cheshire, 9th in England). Cheshire East Club of the Year. RFU Presidents XV award for the Community. Our first international rugby experience with a fabulous tournament with Knutsford's Twin Town Montmorency, France.
2010- Junior tour to Isle of Man. Silverware for the U10/U11's. Knutsford Kasual's team have a fantastic run in the Raging Bull Cup Competition.
2013 - Knutsford Rugby Club achieves a mind boggling 100,000GBP for the childrens charity "When you wish upon a star". Knutsford Rugby Club has hosted a number of events for our nominated charity 'When You Wish Upon A Star' and we are delighted to announce that we have raised over 100,000GBP since the club started in 2004! It is an astonishing achievement.
2014 - Knutsford Rugby Club celebrate its 10th anniversary. Following our first friendly game on April 17 2004 against Northwich and our first league fixture in September 2004, we now have a thriving mini and junior section from age 6 up to 16, our senior sides include a first team playing in the RFU South Cheshire Leagues and a Kasual team (and as the name suggests they play on a casual basis).
2015 - Colts bring home silverware. Cheshire Cup winners. Colts tour to Serbia (yes, Serbia).
2016 - Seniors win the Division 5 league. U14 Cheshire Cup winners.
2017 - Seniors win promotion to Division 3 South. U15 Cheshire Cup winners.
2019 - Club House opened in collabroation with Knutsford Academy.
