April 30th 2008 | Dave Livesey | Rugby Development Officer (Cheshire) [pictured in the centre of the photographs together with Alex Davies and Steve Mooney] recognises the considerable effort in developing the youth section of Knutsford Rugby Club by awarding the initial stage of the RFU Seal of Approval. The award reflects our continuing ability to provide a safe, effective, child-friendly club environment. Our thanks to Dave Livesey who has helped guide and inspire the Club through this process and the Junior Section particularly Alex Davies and Steve Mooney.
Community Rugby introduced the Seal of Approval accreditation programme as a method of examining, maintaining and improving the provision of rugby in the youth section of a rugby club. Building upon current good practice, the accreditation aims to recognise the effort and achievement of those clubs that reach, maintain and improve on the required standard of a club committed to the provision of quality rugby union experiences for young players.
